tongue split diary-ish

So I’ve had some requests for an update on my tongue but no I will NOT be making videos yet for the following reasons:
1. Its only day 2 and I’m still drooling everywhere
2. I’m in a lot of pain
3. I can’t talk coherently yet
4. feeling and looking like shit

I’ve wanted this done for around three years and have some friends who have it done, so I’m well researched and knew exactly what I was getting myself in for. I made the decision to go to Kalima Emporium in Worthing UK for Quentin to do my split assisted by John, which was the best choice as they are lovely body mod masters lol

I’ve looked around at other diarys and noticed that only one or so seems to have the dramatic and awful heeling/swelling I’m experiencing and I’ve come to realize that its because I have a deep split, it was cut with a scaple and stitched as usual but its cut as far back as possible.

The main issues I’m experiencing are:
1. Excessive swelling which is leading to jaw/neck pain
2. inability to talk/eat
3. difficulty swallowing ANYTHING even water and pain meds.
all of the above is really down to the swelling, I’m taking lots of arnica and ibeprophen but to no avail yet.

I haven’t found that cold stuff helps or warm stuff yet, im just taking it as it goes and hoping it calms down soon.
